DAY 1

Welcome to London, England is a country of many notable figures – not to mention iconic sites. When you’re not rubbing shoulders with the beefeaters at Buckingham Palace or strolling through Hyde Park in London.

Today you pick up Mercedes C Class or similar for 7 days car hire to explore the Corners of Cornwall first you will be heading to Wells, known for its Gothic cathedral and peaceful Vicars’ Close. From Wells, our path will take us from the quaint country lanes of Somerset to the heather and gorse-clad tors of Dartmoor National Park.

DAY 5

Today you will head to Cornwall’s northern coast – starting with a stroll around Port Isaac, the fishing village made famous by the Doc Martin television series.

Driving to explore the village and the medieval castle and gardens, which are brimming with treasures and stories from the past. Next, you have the option to visit St Ives, one of England’s prettiest towns, before heading to Falmouth.

Today you continue your drive to Upton Hose Fowey, Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fowey is a very charming town with narrowing streets of the old town where mediaeval and Georgian buildings. Hotel is centrally located so you can easily explore this riverside town.

DAY 10

This morning you will head to Old Park Hall, which is located in Axminster. The beautiful market town of Axminster is set on the River Axe within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Old Park Hall is a grand and imposing property built in the Scottish Baronial style, with a magnificent façade. Grade II listed, it was originally a Georgian house built on the site of the Deer Park for Newenham Abbey. Just a few miles inland from Axminster is the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

Today you head back to London to drop off the car and board first class train in the afternoon from London to Edinburgh. Today you are free to explore the area. Around Loch Ness itself there are many options from a Jacobite cruise on the loch perhaps calling in at the ruined Urquhart Castle which dates back to the 13th century; a visit to the splendid waterfalls at Foyers; or a tour of the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre where you can explore the nature and geology of the Great Glen, the engineering feat of the Caledonian Canal and of course the legend of the elusive monster.

This morning you are continuing your tour by heading to Kinloch Lodge Hotel, which is a historic destination hotel and restaurant on the Isle of Skye off the north-west coast of Scotland. Today you head to Fort William and Inverlochy Castle Hotel, which is a beautiful 19th-century castle surrounded by the luscious green of the evergreen trees and the sparkling blue from the nearby loch. The area surrounding Inverlochy Castle is rich in landscape and history, to name but a few of these breath-taking places - the falls at Glen Nevis, the monument at Glenfinnan and the mountains of Glencoe.
