TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR FRANCE Australian Resident - (Fully Vaccinated)

Validity of Passport


All Australian Passports must have at least 6 months validity left on them past the travellers intended date of return. Pre Departure from Australia Proof of Vaccination


Airlines will require proof of vaccination using International Covid Vaccination Certificate (ICVC) through MYGOV or a printed copy (children 12+)

PCR Test Fully vaccinated travellers from Australia are not required by the French Government to present a negative PCR test however most airlines will require passengers to have this prior to travel. Most airlines will only accept PCR or Rapid Antigen (not home tests) * Please check directly with the relevant airline




No Quarantine – Australia is on the list of 55 countries where travellers are not required to quarantine on arrival. If you are entering France via another destination you will need to check the documentation, quarantine and/or testing requirements of that country. The following countries are allowed to enter France - Australia,


Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Comoros, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Eritrea, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Rwanda, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Vatican City


Health Declaration Form – Travellers are required to fill out a health declaration form before travelling to France and carry this with them. Print this before your flight - Statement of Honor.

Health Pass – Travellers 12 years & over must have a vaccine equivalency health pass for public activities including travel via public transport. Travellers who have been vaccinated outside of the EU need to present their passport and original vaccination certificate in paper format to one of the participating pharmacies in France. There is a cost of 36 Euros per person.

Returning to Australia Complete the Australian Declaration Form 72 hours prior to arrival – a copy of the vaccination certificate will be required to complete. Some states have eased restrictions and introduced reduced quarantine time, home quarantine or no quarantine on arrival (for fully vaccinated travellers). States and Territories are responsible for determining and managing quarantine requirements, information can be found on the state government website. Wearing masks at the airport and on board the aircraft (unless eating) is mandatory.
