Travel restrictions are now in place for people who have been to the following nine (9) countries in the past 14 days.
South Africa
Zimbabwe
Namibia
Botswana
Lesotho
Eswatini
Seychelles
Malawi
Mozambique
Australian citizens, permanent residents and their immediate family members arriving in Australia who have been in these countries will enter 14 days supervised quarantine irrespective of their vaccination status.
Any other traveller who has been in these countries ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ENTER AUSTRALIA EVEN IF THEY HOLD A TRAVEL EXEMPTION OR VISA.
Travellers who have recently arrived from these countries are required to get tested immediately and self-isolate for 14 days.
