Broadway is unleashing several star-studded shows next year, so now is the perfect time to start planning a trip to New York for 2020.
After 24 years, married couple Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker reunite once more on Broadway in a revival of Neil Simon’s comedy, ‘Plaza Suite’, with performances from March 13 to July 12, 2020 at the newly restored Hudson Theatre. This is going to be a hot ticket!

The hit London revival of Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Company’ is coming to New York on March 2, 2020. In the gender-switched lead role of Bobbie is Tony Award winner Katrina Lenk (‘The Band’s Visit’), and the rest of the cast is made up of the who’s who of Broadway stars, headed by Patti LuPone reprising her Olivier Award-winning turn from the West End production. Playing at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Also opening on March 2, 2020 is the latest production of Edward Albee’s ‘Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf’ at the Booth Theatre. It stars Laurie Metcalf, Rupert Everett, Russell Tovey and 2019 Olivier winner Patsy Ferran. Nearly 60 years after this play premiered on Broadway, it still packs a punch.

A week later on March 9, 2020, the latest movie adapted as a musical, ‘Mrs Doubtfire’, opens at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre starring Tony nominee Rob McClure in the title role. This one is guaranteed to be a lot of fun.

And the most anticipated show on Broadway in 2020 is the revival of ‘The Music Man’ starring Hugh Jackman and Tony Award winner Sutton Foster (from the TV series ‘Younger’) which is starting previews on September 9, 2020. Tickets are already on sale. I’ve already got mine. It’s time you got yours too. This one is going to sell out!

These are just a few of the shows already announced for 2020. There’s going to be many more. So make sure you don’t miss out.
